Get to Know Dr. Vincent Votilla

Dr. Votilla has been serving the Lancaster community for over 30 years, and while it was the rural atmosphere that initially brought him to the area, it’s the people that have truly made it his home. He’s thrilled that he gets to work with such a stellar dental team every day, and he loves getting to know new dentistry patients as well as catching up with returning ones. Before you have a chance to meet him, you can start getting to know Dr. Votilla a little better below.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Votilla studied biology at the University of Dayton, graduating in 1981, and he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University’s School of Dentistry four years later. Since then, he has pursued significant advanced training through prestigious institutions such as the L.D. Pankey Institute, Dawson Academy, Aesthetic Advantage with Larry Rosenthal, Spear Education, and the Seattle Study Club. He is also certified to use CEREC technology to provide same-day crowns and bridges, and he has been an Invisalign provider since 2005.

On top of this, he also maintains active memberships in both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Votilla always enjoyed working with his hands, and once he learned a little more about the profession, he felt like he could help change people’s perspective about what modern dentistry has to offer. He believed that once someone is comfortable, he could then enhance their quality of life through his work, and that approach has served him well over the decades.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Votilla resides in Lancaster, and in his free time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family, including his three adult children.
